Sanjay Dutt's daughter Trishala Dutt opens up about her longest relationship: ‘Today, he’s married with children’

Sanjay Dutt's daughter Trishala Dutt, who lives in the US, recently opened up about her longest relationship. On Saturday night, Trishala asked her followers if they have any queries on infidelity and she was flooded with innumerable questions and people seeking help. One of the users asked Trishala  if she has been cheated on, to which she replied, "Yes". When asked about her longest relationship, Trishala revealed seven years and shared, "I won’t get into major details on why it ended but let’s just say we decided to mutually part ways. He was ready for a life at the time I was not and we had many, many differences that accumulated over the years." She further added  "In a nutshell - we both grew apart. It happens. Today, he’s married with children and I wish him all the best."

Recently, during an Ask Me Anything session, a follower asked her why she never “disclosed” how her boyfriend passed away. Trishala, first, wrote, “I apologise in advance if my response comes off as cold. I am not mad nor offended by your question but want to educate people about basic social 101 skills.” 

Then, in a long note, Trishala wrote, “It’s natural to want to know how someone passed away, even if it’s ‘none of your business’, right? However, if you are curious about how someone passed away, but you’re not close enough to already know, then asking is prying. The most inappropriate reaction is inquiring about the cause of death. I want you to ask yourself this question – What is the purpose of me doing/asking this? Will knowing the answer allow me to help this person? or is it just morbid curiosity?”

Trishala Dutt is the daughter of Sanjay Dutt with his first wife Richa Sharma. Richa died of brain tumour in 1996. Trishala was raised by her maternal grandparents in the US. After Richa's death, Sanjay Dutt married Rhea Pillai, but the couple got divorced in 2005. In 2008, Sanjay married Maanayata. Trishala has been quite open about her personal life, including her relationship with her father, Sanjay, and the passing away of her lover.
